About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to get what I can out of my life, which can be a number of things at any given time. There are however requirements, there must always be music, thought provoking discussion, and good food (preferably burritos).

ABOUT ME

I am an introvert by nature and an extrovert by practice. I enjoy the company of others and am always down for a discussion. I'm a fairly easy going individual, as I am sure the great majority of couch surfers may be. I'm both satisfied by staying in and reading or going out on the town, depending on the mood. I'm always excited to learn from others, and to hear of what their experience of the world has been thus far.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life with no social construct guiding it, think for yourself, think critically, think often.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommates and I have been a host to several different surfers thus far.

Interests

  • reading
  • music

Music, Movies, and Books

Crazy Korean films, all things Miyazaki, Guillermo del Toro and any awful horror movie. I'm non-fiction fan. I read about people and food, sometimes both. I study anthropology and tend to lean towards that area of literature. I listen to Beirut, Sufjan Stevens, Bon iver, Chris garneu, the decemberists, iron and wine, grizzly bear, Andrew bird, the books, Jose Gonzales, feist, cat power, horse feathers, lykke li, kimbra, and various other stuffs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped run a community garden, and coordinate a scraps program from local restaraunts for said garden.

Teach, Learn, Share

I make music, typically weird folk inspired stuff, I am always down to jam with anyone willing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A couch, some food, and some food for thought.
