Overview
About Me
I'm passionate, yet super chill and laid-back. I like being around people and be loud and generally excited about life, but also need my alone time to recharge.
I'm excited about traveling - there's something about exploring new places, new people, new food and new ways of looking at life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Though I've known about this thing and done it unofficially, it wasn't until recently that I took the plunge and officially became a CS-er! Woohoo! Let's see how it goes...
Interests
I like being in nature. Exploring the night life in big cities. dancing, party, art, picnics, hiking, running in the forest, walking, yoga, meditation, laughing, hanging out with friends, having great conversations... I'm interested in TONS OF DIFFERENT THINGS.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't think it's possible to live without music.
I listen to a wide range of music - Asa, Nina Simone, Trentemøller, David August, The xx, Wild Belle, Arcade Fire, Fela Kuti, Muse, Rage Against the Machine, Street Sweeper Social Club, System of a Down, Tool, The Coup, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Sigur Ros, Yann Tiersen, Archive, Followed by Ghosts, Godspeed You! Black Emperor
And I love going to small, cozy live jazz concerts.
Love reading books. Currently reading: Thinking fast and slow (Daniel Kahneman), The end of absence (Michael Harris), I know why the caged bird sings (Maya Angelou), Kafka on the shore (Haruki Murakami), A mind apart: Travels in a neurodiverse world (Sussane Antonetta)
Films: Birdman, Amelie, Inception, Midnight in Paris, etc. I like works of Michaelangelo Antonioni & Kieslowski
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. I was once totally & utterly disconnected from the external world (as well as the internal chitchat and the subconscious gossip) for 10 days at a silent meditation retreat. It was quite challenging, but so liberating at the end :)
2. I camped in a desert so I could watch the stars at night. So serene!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm curious and open to new experiences and different perspectives.
I can share my love for dancing, cooking and laughing. If you're interested, I can teach you about building design & human comfort so that you'd never look at buildings the same way again!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love baking/cooking! Good adventure stories, if you're up for a story telling night over a drink or two.
