About Me
People call me spontanious, funny, social and a little bit crazy :D. I really love to dance, when I'm out with friends, Salsa, Zumba, I don't care, I like it :). I ride my snowboard Goofy-style, like a lot of genres in music and movies. I love to travel, want to see the whole world :).
Life is not about the amounts of breath you take, it’s about the moments that take your breath away
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm interested in different cultures and the best way to get to know the culture of the country you're exploring is staying with locals. Besides that it's also great to explore the city/country with a person who lives there. They know the good spots.
Interests
Besides the stuff that's in the 'about me' box, I like different kind of sports, like swimming, Taekwon-do and (beach)volleybal. I like to go out dancing or for a drink with friends. I enjoy reading a good book, learning new languages and using the internet for all kinds of stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
When I go out I like to dance on Latin music, R&B, Reggaeton, Hiphop, Dance and Happy hardcore. But when I'm listening to music I can enjoy a good singer/songwriter like Gavin Degraw and Passenger or rockband like Bon Jovi and Creed too. I've got a wide spread taste of music, movies and books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I do quite a lot of volunteer work. I ride a neighbourhood bus between villages around my hometown Nijmegen. I work for Oxfam Novib at festivals like Pinkpop.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always like to learn new languages. I can learn them quite easily and whenever I'm in a foreign country I want to at least be able to say Hi, thank you and bye in the language they speak there. But of course, more is always better :).
Teaching someone some Dutch is always a pleasure. Gezellig is the word everyone should know in Dutch. It means something like cozy, intimate, social, but is not really translatable.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge of languages, the Dutch (and other) culture(s) I know something about, my positive thinking and enthousiasm for a lot of different stuff. I could teach a salsalesson if you're interested :).
