Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to immerse myself in a new culture, learn a new language, travel as frugally and as vastly as possible, befriend as many strangers as imaginable, and write as many stories as I can absorb
ABOUT ME
I love learning languages, traveling to new places, reading books, watching sunsets and sunrises, running in the woods, new music, classical guitar, playing with kids, writing stories, listening to stories, drinking red wine and eating chocolate, sitting on porches, exploring, trying new things and meeting new people.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life because it excites me to learn the things that I don't know, to hear things I haven't heard, and to meet people I haven't met. The uncertainty is intriguing. And while going along the path of uncertainty I try to focus on the little things in every day - like morning coffee, and chocolate raspberry ice cream - that make ordinary moments quite sweet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I lived in Spain in 2009-2010 I joined couchsurfing as a way to meet new people and explore new places, and I encountered some of the best people in the world through this project. I hope to host and travel much more in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sky diving was certainly one of the most amazing experiences. Graduating college was quite wonderful. Climbing a mountain in Sicily and visiting a town that was in the clouds. The sun rise over the Arno river in Florence. The sun set over the mosques in Sarajevo. Rock climbing the cliffs in Tarifa and seeing the beautiful coast down below and the coast of Northern Africa in the horizon. Snow-covered bridges over the Danube River in Budapest.
Teach, Learn, Share
Classical guitar, bread baking, kombucha making I can teach. I want to learn to grow my own food, to knit, to white water kayak, to make wine, to speak as many languages as possible, to develop my own film. I can share stories, music, food, wine.
