About Me
Following Rumi's advice: To seek and explore more of myself is what I find to be the only path through my primary goal of shedding skin; though I am totally aware of the fact that it hurts.
I think real life begins exactly at the point that you feel scared, and if you stop, then you're dead.
Also, I believe that nothing in the universe could possibly be wasted or useless or uninfluential.
Maybe it is a helpful piece of info for you to know about me that I have practised being a teacher more than anything else in my life since I was 17, and I firmly believe that it all (everything) starts from education; and it is not only limited to the human species. Teaching and learning are the only ways to (practice) see yourself always at the beginning (which at times hurts), and feel the immediate need for "staying humble and just keep reviewing who you are". I'm deeply spiritual and vegetarian (almost vegan).
Fun historical fact, as I am a history enthusiast: "Eli/Ellie" is what some of the people close to me call me. My name is etymologically a Turkish and Persian name, which was originally a nickname used by nomads in the west of Iran to describe the one girl in the community who has charming beauty but is coy and deliberately humble and graceful. The first syllable also means "goddess/or in possession of godly powers" in Hebrew and also exists in the Latin-derived languages. ILNAZ was the original word, with "IL" meaning "the nomadic tribe" and NAZ meaning "the beauty/the cute/the beautiful but coy and humble". Funnily and ironically enough, I was never considered that kind of beauty in the family, haha! Though I tried to develop it inside ;) Little by little, in the Persian language, it turned out to be Elnaz, and Eli is its short form (kind of a nickname).
