About Me
If I had to give the character trait that defines me the most, it would be curiosity. I like to learn, to discover new approaches and ways of living, to meet people and cultures.
I would like to make of my life an incessant journey, a huge playground and my goal is to experiment with alternative travel so, on the agenda : hitchhiking, table-diving, dumpster-diving, couchsurfing, woofing...
The plan is to blend in among the local population while augmenting the sharing and reducing the need of money, going outside my comfort zones.
One last thing, I'm vegan, it means that I consume no food (such as meat, fish, eggs, or dairy products) that comes from animals but I'm eating all the rest (vegetables, leguminous plant, fruits, oleaginous, cereals) without any problem !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet travelling companions, to explore cities with locals or other travellers, to find an host for a night, to discuss and share advices with the community, and why not to become an host in the future !
Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot. I love poetry, particularly Paul Eluard (J'ai un visage pour être aimé), but also Victor Hugo (Les Contemplations), Nakim Hikmet (Il neige dans la nuit), Apollinaire, Rimbaud ...
As well, some authors are significant for me : Christian Bobin, Albert Camus, Sylvain Tesson, Le Clézio etc.
If we meet, I'd love to know about yours !
My musical tastes are really eclectic : from jazz (Chet Baker, Oscar Peterson, Miles Davis, Coltrane, Ibrahim Maalouf ...) to reggae (Bob Marley, UB40, The Abyssinians, Groundation...) passing by Pink Floyd, The Doors, Queen, Hendrix, Massive Attack, Gainsbourg, The Clash, alt-J, Rex Orange Country, Yellow Days, Little Richard, Radiohead, Tchaikovsky, Chopin ...
My last "love-at-first-sight" song was : Gaston Miron, Babx (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMX8Ap5xw4s)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Celebrating my majority by visiting Italy, meeting amazing people, trying hitchhike, working in a biological farm, testing the way of life (and travel !) that I want for my future.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Playing guitar and singing, cooking, hanging out, trying to be understandable in your foreign language (it could be really funny), inventing stories, discussing late into the night ... Just taking time to get to know you.
