My name is Elodie, 25 years old, from France (Alsace). I just achieved my studies in Social Economy and from now I want to live a concrete Utopia by a sharing live style instead of just being a slave of the Capitalism.

I'd like to meet new people and get inspired by them, because I believe each of us have a special talent and a gift for the world !

My only purpose is to grow up as a musician, as a horse rider, and as a living being
I do think we can only grow stronger by meeting people and learning about another culture. I feel happy when I'm able to learn something and also laugh every day of my life.
As Mike Horn say, "If you're not scared by your dreams, that means they're not big enough" !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I love to meet people and share experiences to grow up as individual.
I've studied what's called the "economy of giving" and I really do think that our planet and humanity would be grateful if we all learn to give and share.

I have few strong passions as music, horses, sociology, travel... but I'm interested in so many subjects I can't even count them !
I like to read, I like to draw, I love philosophy, politic science, History, sports (hiking, swimming, skiing etc...), I'd like to learn more about sewing techniques, sailing boat, singing, playing drums, planting trees and gardening, learning new languages, cooking...

My favorite musicians are Manu Chao and Georges Brassens

I like the books and Author that make you see the world bigger, as George Orwell (every one should read "1984" and "Animal Farm" to be aware as citizen). Then I would say Nelson Mandela, Amartya Sen, Albert Jacquard, Alain Caillé, Patrick Viveret, Amélie Nothomb and so many others...

I'm not a big fan of cinema but I obviously like powerful movies as "Soeurs d'armes" a brand new french movie about women leading war in Kurdistan.
I like the kind of movie like the Green Mile or Interstellar.
For the cartoon, my favorite is Coco :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All the moments I spend with horses, and sharing music with people, of course !

My first big travel was to Peru where I came to renovate an orphanage, which was an incredible and unforgettable experience. One day we walked for a pilgrimage, we climb to a 5000 meters above sea level mountain, a strong experience which awaked my taste and attraction for adventures.

Then we years ago I've meet my second family in Nicaragua, in a project named Carpe Diem. I've lived an experience I can't even imagine before. I found a blessed community of true brotherhood that made me strong enough to find my complete self, I love them so much <3

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a bit of guitar, and also share my experiences with horses or traveling.

I can also show you a bit around Colmar, as I really like the Mountains we have here, "les Vosges" which hide a lot of Castles ruins, small lake and wilderness :)
I can show you the small I know about our wines and our cheeses :D

I'm very enthusiastic about learning new stuff and skills too !
