I can say for myself that I believe everything happens for a reason. Every person you meet, every action you take has repercussions on your life and on the life of others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in the US in 2014 with my boyfriend and it was great. We met awesome people, all over the place. Some I wish would come visit us. Our friends had hosted and been hosted and told us how great is it. So when it came time to roadtrip through the US, we thought it would add a lot to our overall experience.

At the time we couldn't host but now that I have my own place, I really want to have people over and give back to this amazing community :)

Interests

Food and nature describes me pretty well (after love and happiness).
I am young, I like to meet people and learn! New experiences and adventure also attract me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Elodie: I am a sucker for love movies - I know it's cheesy but I can be cheesy. Music is all kinds. I have a classical piano background so love classical, but also all popular music, crooners, electronic etc. I can't really discuss music though, I have a terrible memory about names of songs and artists.
I am a big sucker for TV Shows: Bones is my favorite right now, but I also watch Suits, The Big Bang Theory, OITNB, New Girl, The Big Bang Theory, Vampire Diaries.
I use to watch Gossip Girl, 90210 & One Tree Hill (I know these are cheesy, but still).
For books, tastes are also endless. I like non fiction and fiction, fantasy, murder mystery, etc. I have a soft spot for vampire books (not Twilight), though right now I am reading a book by Naomi Wolf book about women's sexuality so as you can see my horizons are quite broad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think anything stands out, I like to try a bunch of things, so to me nothing specific is that great. I've travelled a lot, am doing my second undergrad, love to volunteer.

Though I'm pretty proud to have climbed Mount Washington through the tough routes in 10 hours with my dog and no shoe for the last 1hr due to popped blisters :P

If you have a passion I want to hear about it. I might be a business person, but my interests are all over the place, from playing music, to baking, to gardening or reading about human sexuality. So all topics interest me to a level that I can comprehend.
