About Me
I WILL BE ABROAD FROM AUGUST 2018 TO MAY 2019 SO I WON'T BE ABLE TO HOST ANYONE DURING THAT TIME
I'm a French 20yo girl, I've been living in Germany for almost all my life (3 years in Canada) and I've caught this amazing thing called WANDERLUST 😁
One day during a walking tour in Glasgow, I met this amazing woman who was 47 years old and had travelled to a new country every year... so a total of 47! This totally inspired me and I will try to do the same for the rest of my life because the world has soooo many things to teach me and I'll never get sick of learning!
Travelling has become really really important to me in the past two years and all my savings go into plane/bus/train tickets rather than shopping, alcohol and expensive touristic places.
I'm really really talkative and the best at bad jokes (they make me laugh though), I'm down for almost anything as soon as it's not sitting on the couch doing nothing (this doesn't count on Sundays!) and I love to learn new things!
I have already met quite a few people on Couchsurfing in the past 2 years and I am still 1000% ready to enjoy this website as much as possible because travelling+meeting people= HAPPINESS :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travelling is more than just following TripAdvisors recommendations. I believe that you truly get to know a country only by going out of your comfort zone and living with locals. I volunteered in Mexico for 6 months and I've met such amazing people that I'd like to experience this again with all kind of people all across the globe!
Next places on my list: after South East Asia, I'd like to explore more countries in Europe and probably will go to South America for some months!
Interests
Whenever I travel, I like to challenge myself and discover new unexpected things :) I am always opened for learning and discovering and I love to share and to connect with people from other countries!
I love to talk for hours with someone about all kind of topics, learn from conversations and experiences, spend hours walking in a park or just sit somewhere and have a picnic (because it's cheaper when you're on a budget hahaha).

Music, Movies, and Books
Having around 2700 songs saved on my phone, it would be too long to describe what I listen to 😅😅 Beatles, Queen, Tame Impala, Arctic Monkeys, old 60s songs, French music, the mexican band Zoe, all kinds of music from Latinoamerica... I try to find new songs every week and add them on my phone!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteering with kids in a primary school or with disabled adults during my stay in Mexico were the most rewarding and enriching experiences I've ever had! It made me realize a lot of things about me and the world and I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity!
I also went couchsurfing three weeks in various cities in England and Scottland and stepping out of my comfort zone and getting to know all kinds of amazing people was simply an unforgettable experience and I'll never be grateful enough for the Couchsurfing website to exist because it made my journey through the UK so enriching and I am still talking to some of my hosts and to the people I have met along the way!
Travelling like a local in Cuba, it was challenging and new but I loved it!!!
I taught 3 months in a school in the middle of Thailand's countryside, surrounded by rice fields, temples and people who wouldn't understand a word I said (i don't speak thai...). It was a very enriching experience because the local rural culture is far different from what tourists usually grasp from Thailand.
Backpacking 3 months in South East Asia alone was incredible too, it was a condensed experience of new places, new cultures and new friends from all around the world!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook for you if you want (I'm vegan since some months though but it is as tasty!) and if you want me to bring you anything from Germany, let me know!!!
