ABOUT ME

All about me ? How could I know ?! I'm actually on my way to discover it as deep as i can... I'm afraid there's no end to this way, and eventually I love it like this!
Higgledy-piggledy : I used to teach French to refugees, I wrote a book about my year in Africa, I am a real chocolate addict, I meditate every day and love to hypnotise people, I worked in a NGO about peace and democracy, my clothes are always colorfull coz it's my way to fight the greyness of everyday life, I can't spend a week without doing sport (any one), I regularly need to feel a tree under my fingers to stay alive, I worked a lot with kids and teenagers as an animator before, I work on donations to be the change I want to see in this materialist world, my enthousiasm and idealism about life are huge, but I can have attacks of fear sometimes, nastiness and dishonesty make me litteraly sick, and love to heal, help, share spiritual practices and connections...

We cannot always change the reality, but we always keep the choice of how we want to see it, and to accept what is. Let's be positive, and act positive.

Hosting travelers and meeting people abroad,offering my skills and good energy to my hosts, sharing, creating a space between people...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met very nice people through couchsurfing, and thanks to them, i could live abroad and participate in the local life, help, volunteer, it was just so rich... I've hosted good people too and had surprising moments in my own house, it's like travelling without moving :)

Interests

Is there enough space ?Well... spiritual things, cultures, nature, meditation, healing, nature, yoga, theater, cinema, sociology, hiking, psychology, inner journeys, litterature, human relationship, history...I'm also interested in the way people feel, in their glance on life, in how they manage to deal with all the questions we can share, how they connect to their soul, and to nature...

Books : all the ones by Alessandro Baricco, "Eleven minutes" by Coelho, "Ravage" by Barjavel, "Momo" by Ende, all Murakami's, "The shadow of the wind" by Ruiz Zafon, "The Prophete" by Gibran, loads of comics (my favourite ones : by Lausel and by Larcenet), and so so many other ones... I'm a book addict !

Movies : all the movies by Miyazaki, Spring Summer Autumn Winter and Spring, Mirror mask, The idiots, Usual suspect, The night of the hunter, Big Blue, Monsters and Co, Babel, Crash, all the movies by Tim Burton, by David Lynch... (impossible to list!)

Music : jazz (My housemate and friend is a jazz singer!), english, french folk-pop, african, reggae, rock, irish, 70's, 80's... I don't really appreciate rap or R&B, neither house or techno music... but only a silly person can't change her mind!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was put in jail in Kinshasa in 2001 because I took a picture in the street and the soldiers thought I was a spy !

I became a buddhist nun in Thailand in 2012 and shaved my long hair. I'm still Mae Chi in my heart...

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach French, English, Spanish, Self-hypnosis and Meditation. Probably a lot of other things that I love without being an expert :-)

I would love to learn anything linked to spiritual practices, sports, arts, culture, nature, and about your personal way of being an human being in this crazy world :-)

I can share energy, hypnosis sessions, cooking, talking, and my heart is open for anything else that comes from yours
