ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm a (vaccinated)(straight) guy from Germany who is working at an IT company and likes the exciting feeling that I get when I'm doing something I'm not used to. As I have been living in a small town in the heart of Bavaria, Germany for 21 years I got tired of it and now I'm curious what the rest of the world has got to offer.

As my experience tells me there are cool people everywhere you go, no matter where they come from, what religion they are or what the color of their skin is. I don't care if someone is gay, interested in collecting stamps or comes from the far east. As long as he/she is a nice person who likes to meet others alike from around the world I'd love to meet this person have fun with him and share the experience of two strangers having a great time.

The foremost reason I joined this community is because I love travelling the world and as you always need a place to stay - be it a hotel or a friend or whatever - and as hotels become quiet expensive in the long run, a free place to stay is an amazing thing. But even better for me is the opportunity to have someone at the country I'm interested in, who knows what's going on. Who tells me where to get important stuff like good food, who shows me what his/her area has to offer and maybe goes partying and shares a bit of his life with me.

Because there is no easier way to experience a culture than with someone who is part of it.
That's what I seek. Really getting a bit of how others on this globe live their life. Maybe it helps me finding my own role in this game. But at least it will be very interesting and hopefully a lot of fun.

PHILOSOPHY

I do whatever is fun or gives me a good time and do whatever it takes so that others around me have a great time as well.

Musica, film e libri

On books I prefer Fantasy and Sci-Fi or something funny. Terry Pratchett, John Scalzi, etc. Movies: Comedy, Action
And music is a thing for itself because I can party to any music if I got the right people around me. On my own I prefer listening to Rock, Alternative, Punk, Metall and a little bit HipHop.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

4 weeks of travelling through Europe by train on my own. Gave me a lot of storys to tell.
Half a year around the world was quite an experience as well.
One year of studying in bella Roma was amazing.
