Hi, I'm Emilie, but everyone calls me Em,

I'm an architect who likes to enjoy life poetically.
My feelings and emotions always come first. I do prefer to follow my intuition even if it looks risky.

Meeting people, to do a party or chilling at my place alone, cooking, dancing, watching a good series/movie, reading a book under the sun, drinking a beer and listening to music, organise some events, sharing culture/information, teaching that I know, to drink a good glass of wine in a bbq party, or a good strong beer, or a natural juice, to look after of my plants, to welcome people at my place and cook for them, to travel around the world, to live the adventure, to climb, to feel the wind on my face.

I did research about the waste, plastic waste, economically and socially, in the slums (more focused on the favelas - slums in Brazil). If you are curious, it will be a real pleasure to talk about it and share.

I can be very calm or very excited about having a party. It depends on my mood.
So, if you come to my flat, we can enjoy the time in Paris together. I can show you some parts of the city and explain history if you have the curiosity, architecture why not eh!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a good way to connect with people and to share with different cultures.
And it's so good to find a good host for free when you're travelling without housing. Money is the desire to share with people.

I was without housing many times during my travels, so I know the pleasure of doing Couchsurfing.
And is an incredible way to know a place and to feel the local culture.
Above all, sharing the intimacy of a person, for a few days or a moment, is precious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just a random list haha :
-I was without housing in Barcelona, travelled alone in Asia, and lived in an occupation.
-I did all my shopping forgetting my money and have given a name to each of my plants (Guy, Vera, Djobi, Djoba, Djobo, Karmoussi, ).
-I was lost when I took the train to Germany, not to mention a word of German and English, at 12y.o.
-I was a member of a student association to organise the party, events, prevention, and look after a student...and in another student association, AGEP, Association Générale des Etudiants de Paris, with we opened a social grocery store for a student in Paris, l'AGORAé.
-I created a brass band with some friends, Les Encuivrés. We use to play on the street, at the bar, at some event, etc.
- I'm creating another brass band, a queer one. ✿

Transmission. What a word!
To be a teacher is an objective.

Transmit what I know, about music, about life through my experiences, about architecture and history, about almost everything Ahah.

I do music. Playing piano and drums, percussions. I wish one day I could be able to mix and do my music.
I am passionate about little anecdotes about everything.
I like people who want to discover new stuff.
and I like cooking (Cheesecake is a good thing in this world).
