Overview
About Me
i'm a peaceful lady self-described as an adventure and fun-time seeker. i like to explore. i've been all over the united states, cruising around making friends and making journeys to see friends. i'm a lucky gal. i'm crafty, creative, and friendly too. always down for a good conversation.
i know the west coast intimately, love the rockies and blue ridge parkway just as much as my cascades, and i've recently been into visiting philadephia and new york.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i've always been into craigslist rideshares and picking up hitchhikers. i've made road trips out of word-of-mouth and friends-of-friends connections before. i've had mostly really awesome experiences... except that one time. haha
since i'm finally traveling somewhere where i need more resources and i don't know anyone in juneau with a couch to spare, i decided to give this a try.
*** p.s. and wow! i liked it so much i want to meet more people who use this system. i think you inherently have to be pretty cool to open your home to an unknown traveler. ***
Interests
i'm into art, philosophy, hiking & biking, dancing, flow arts, juggling, playing pool, astrology, and good food. i love reading!!! yoga is fun too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i'm kind of unconventional. i was the philosophy tutor in college. for an anthropology class, i wrote a 20 page paper on how astrology has been systematically repressed by first religion and then also science throughout history.
i haven't climbed any real mountains, but i've been spelunking and snorkling.
i've also become a full-time professional house-sitter in the last year as one form of my self-employment. that's right... i live in other people's houses for a living, and i always leave them cleaner and often get invited back. i love pets too, obviously. ;)
