About Me
Hello there :)
My name is Elsa(Chun-Yi, Wu 吳君怡) and come from Taiwan(R.O.C). Now is on the third year of University and major in languages. I speak fluent Mandarin(my mother tongue), English and basic German (roughly level A2-B1).
My personality is spontaneous and open-minded. I've visited 13 countries and love Europe especially! I like the high-cultured, humanities and diversity there.
To me, solo travelling is a way to find myself, explore the world, gain more particle knowledge, have contact with different people instead of only studying books.
I have done "work &travel" twice. In total I've stayed with 4 hosts. One was in 2017 summer in Germany🇩🇪(July-Sep), the other one starts since Feb 2018. Through these experiences, I find out how narrow my perspective was. Last year I did work&travel for the first time, it was a tremendous culture shock. But this time I have more profound thinking. Besides this change, there are many travel stories I would like to share with you :)
I'm interested in culture and languages exchange. Sharing our perspectives together must be really nice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
life is all about new experiences!
I really do believe that the best way of travelling through a country is to get in touch with locals - and becomes friend with them. It opens an unique possibility to see the country through their eyes and understand the people
