Hi everyone! I'm Elsaline and I have been living in Rotterdam for 4 years already because of my study! I'm really in love with Rotterdam. I love the international vibe, the belgium beer cafés, the witte de with street, the skyline when i'm driving at the 'van Brienenoord' bridge and ''of course'' just chilling around the Kralingse plas or Vroesenpark and bbq'ing with good weather. Or just bike around, go to crazy parties in the weekend (or even better when I don't have to work: on thursday night) and enjoy the lively vibe of Rotterdam.

I'm an open minded person, being around people makes me full of energy. Always in for crazy ideas but also for serious conversations.
I believe that travelling makes the heart and mind richer. I love to learn from other people's ideas and beliefs while travelling (and some of the language of course, haha).
I'm an idealist and believe that we all can make the world a better and happier place :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people, I like to show people my city. Plus I like to get to know different cultures and the best way to do so is to meet with the locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived for 2 weeks in the Amazone in Surinam, without electricity or shower. It was challenging, but really awesome.

TEACH I can teach you some Dutch, karate or playing guitar (but I warn you: I'm really not good ;) )
LEARN I would love to learn Spanish! I try to do it on my own now, but it's kind of hard without a book or something.
