About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience the world!

ABOUT ME

Hi! We are Elsie and Jimmy, two keen travellers who are starting a big trip around most of the Northern Hemisphere!

We are relaxed, laid-back people who think the best way to see the world is by meeting and staying with locals. We love to cook vegetarian meals, spend time amongst nature, and share conversations and ideas about life and the world.

Jimmy has just finished an Environments degree, in which he studied environmental politics, geographies and cultures. Elsie will resume her law degree in Melbourne next year, and hopes to practise humanitarian law.

Jimmy has travelled previously to India and through most of South East Asia. Elsie has been to Western Europe, parts of Asia and East Africa. We are excited about starting our next adventure, to travel from France to India overland. Hopefully we can meet many of you along the way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have spent the last few weeks surfing around the Netherlands and absolutely loved it! We look forward to continuing to surf through Europe, and then to host fellow surfers on our arrival back in Melbourne.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

By far our most challenging, but rewarding experience has been completing a Vipassana meditation course (http://www.dhamma.org.au/meditation.htm)

Every travel experience has been amazing. Whether in far north Sweden or the hub of Phnom Penh, each day brings a fresh challenge and an opportunity to learn.
