ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 years old exchange civil engineering student in Ireland, originally from Brazil. I've been living in Europe for 1 year so far.

To be honest I use to skip the part when I have to describe myself, since I think it is not an easy task haha but I'm sure this is very important and necessary on this website, so here we go haha

I'm a friendly, sincere and reliable person, always down to meet new people, making new friends and spending great moments with them or with acquaintances.

Knowing new cultures, places and styles of life is one of my passions,once I have opportunity and enough money I'm going to travel cause I agree with the statement which says that traveling makes the people happier than material goods. And surely happiness is my main goal.

Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to know open minded people from all corners of Earth and from their help discover new places, share cultures and make sure you will see what really matters about the place you are visiting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can say that my first couch surfing experience took place even before I sign up on this website. It happened when a currently great friend of mine invited me to visit Belfast and to stay in his place, at that moment we had met just once before in a table tennis competition among universities in Ireland. In his place we talked a lot about couch surfing and also planned a trip with other friends to Scotland. He already had a profile on this so he got in charge of find a host for us and incredibly he found an amazing host for 4 people in Edinburgh, what became my real first experience.

Now it's time to surf by myself on this and spread my experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in learning about you culture, try your traditional foods and drinks, it doesn't mean you have to cook for me, it's enough if you tell me where I can buy them or take me to this place, however I would be glad to prepare some Brazilian recipes for you :) I would love to pick up a bit of the language of the country I'm visiting, it's useful and necessary.

I really appreciate to know different cultures and opinions about whatever in general. I guess I'm a good listener and also speaker, so be ready to have a good talk :)
