To go adventuring while I am young, single, and unfettered by a career! To immerse myself in the foreign and unknown, forge friendships with strangers, and come home with stories I will tell and cherish for the rest of my life.

ABOUT ME

I'm fun-loving and adventurous, always up for trying new things! While I'm always looking to have a great time, I am also considerate and conscientious. I'm pretty energetic and spunky, but I do love lazing around from time to time.

I'm in my post-college exploratory phase right now (a friend of mind called it the Odyssey years- the long meandering journey that eventually leads you home), just looking to meet as many great people and see and do as many cool things as I can before I buckle down and go back to school.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the site and am still exploring, but I'm totally psyched about connecting with new, exciting people while I backpack across Europe this fall!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my summers in high school I was a member of a touring singing group, and each night we stayed locals' houses after giving a concert in their town. It was such a great feeling of trust and warmth to be welcomed into the homes of total strangers, plus I got to meet some really neat people! I haven't done much couchsurfing since then, but I really look forward to doing plenty in Europe. I'm very excited to meet new people who can show me the more local (less touristy) scene!

I have kissed a Siberian tiger on the nose (see my picture).

I'll teach you: some mean origami, how to shuffle cards the cool way, fun rounds to sing, and a couple really fun balance games (as long as you're not a sore loser :))

You teach me: anything you get excited about. I love trying new things and I always want to learn. If your first language isn't English, I'd love to learn a little bit of your language while I'm in your country!
