Hi, I am Els, I am currently studying computational science in Amsterdam. I would like to use the techniques I learn in computional science to describe proccesses observed in biological systems. So I still call myself a biologist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and I think couchsurfing is a great way to go abroad and really experience how it is to live in the country you are visiting. Very cool!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After high school I worked in Argentina for 6 months where I was part of a team that was training wild horses. It was the first time in my life to be without family very far away from home and it made me change a little bit into a different person. SinceI have had this experience, I notice that about once a year, I really like to get out of my normal life again and put myself in situations that are new for me. I have done some nice internships now. The last was a 5 month internship at a wolf science centre where I got to observe wolves every day and live with the most amazing group of people.
