About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live, laugh, learn, travel, and be merry. Oh, and meet some sweet people along the way :)

ABOUT ME

So I have this phrase that I said and seriously meant it only once, but it's become "my saying": My life is epic. What I mean by that is that a whole bunch of events (most being prolonged events) have influenced my life and made me who I am. Through the years, I've become more self-aware, but I'm still learning about myself constantly.

So when I say that I'm a fun-loving, chill girl who's down for whatever comes her way, it's only because I have heard it from others who know me well and those who don't know me at all.

If you ask me, I'm one of those people who you either love or you hate, but you have to give me a chance.

Also, food is a passion.

PHILOSOPHY

whatever happens, happens for a reason.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed a lot and hosted a little. Basically, I just like meeting new, interesting people who like to share and exchange stories and laughs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

in one word, amazing.

April 2008
Siena: surfed Ermanno's couch [my Italian music guru]
Pisa: surfed Salvo's couch [and had the best time his crew of crazy Sicilian friends]

May 2008
Roma: night out with DJ Semi
Lisbon: surfed Joao's couch [and had fantastic (home- made) dinner conversations supplemented by delicious red wine]

June 2008:
Madrid: had a sick time on Janesa's couch

Interests

story time, green apples, tie-dye t-shirts, traveling, awkward situations, converse sneakers, honey mustard, uno spritz, people watching, my family and friends, laughing at myself, meeting new people, stimulating conversation.

Catcher in the Rye, Into Thin Air, Siddhartha, On the Road... and basically anything by Jack Kerouac.

Music:
the juxebox in my head

Movies:
The Little Rascals, Garden State, Love Actually, Moulin Rouge, The Notebook, and captivating documentaries about basically anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

FINALLY made it to see Mount Rushmore. It's been one of my life long dreams since I can remember.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone, everywhere is both a teacher and student. There is nothing that you know for certain and there's always something you can learn. Through being both a teacher and student you are sharing-- your knowledge, your interests, you name it. And I believe sharing is caring, and caring is fun.

Countries I’ve Visited
