Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm an M.Sc Student in Geology and Planetary Sciences at the University of Western Ontario. I'm from Vancouver originally, and love the pacific northwest. I've done some travelling through my work and schooling, studying abroad in England, and studying Venus in Texas and meteorites in Japan.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm very new to the Couch Surfing community!
I think one of the best ways to travel and explore a city is by meeting with the people who live there! Of course, as a student, I'm also on a budget, so every bit of hospitality helps.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Haven't had any, yet!
Interests
I like Korean pop music, astronomy, geology, baking, reading, board games, tabletop role playing, travelling, craft beers, tea parties, wine and cheese parties, and cats. I used to do historical sword fighting, and I took a falconry workshop, once. I do some fire spinning, too.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm really into Korean pop music right now. BIGBANG is my favourite band. I also like some symphonic metal, like Epica, Nightwish, and Eluvietie. I also like Queen, Steve Miller, and Pink Floyd.
My favourite books are American Gods, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and Wee Free Men. Favourite authors are currently Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did an internship at NASA in 2014! My supervisor and I used radar to study the mountains on Venus.
Teach, Learn, Share
Um, I'm really good at identifying rocks, and talking about space and planets. I like practicing languages (I'm okay at French, and have some basic Japanese). I also adore baking and exploring new foods.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very happy to help with any tidying or dishes that need doing in exchange for your hospitality! Please feel free to let me know what I can help you with.
