ABOUT ME
Hmm. It's a lot harder than I thought to describe myself. I guess I could start with indecisive since its been about half an hour and I'm still on the third sentence. Well, here's a boring one: I grew up in New York, went to school in Texas, worked in California, then traveled for about a year and a half. It was time for a break, so I returned to Vienna and got a job. Now, I'm resting and enjoying the opportunity to stay in one place, cook in my own kitchen, and shower in a familiar shower. <>
PHILOSOPHY
Brevity is ... wit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I did some surfing when I could plan that far in advance... Usually I just showed up in a city though.
Interests
Languages, travel, SCUBA diving, Motorcycling, writing, running, anything new. And making cheese. I don't necessarily want to do it, I'm just really curious how its done.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots of books, mostly the classics. All types of music, but especially Bob Dylan and Billy Joel. My favorite movie at the moment is Porco Rosso by Miyazaki, but that's probably cuz I just watched it last week.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How about leaning at a 45-degree angle for several minutes over an open cliff above Vaduz, Liechtenstein on an Easter Sunday held up only by the force of the updraft wind blowing snow in my face while church bells rang out below?
