ABOUT ME

A 20-year-old Indonesian currently working in finance at a multinational company.

I am an open-minded person so we can talk about so many things from current political issues to popular holiday destinations, especially in Asia. I am always amazed by how people have different hobbies. You can talk about your hobby and guaranteed, I will find it unique then get excited because of it. We can also talk about mine, of course.

Generally I'm more of a listener than a speaker, but if you ask me about things you would like to know a lot about, of course I can make an exception.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be helped traveling and to help travelers. :)

Interests

- Traveling, sightseeing, taking pictures and videos in all the beautiful places
- Talking to random people and get meaningful insights from them :) the topic can be anything! Especially if they are older than me and have many experiences and advices to share
- Singing while playing ukulele! It's my favourite instrument because it's easy to carry but can still produce beautiful music
- Hanging out with friends for cooking, dining out or just having fun. I don't go to clubs or bars, though

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste varies. I like Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Chet Baker. But I also listen to She & Him and Arctic Monkeys. So it's pretty flexible, depending on my mood.

For movies, I like Pulp Fiction (Quentin Tarantino) so much. My current obsession is La La Land! I also enjoy romantic movies and my favourite so far is Richard Linklater's trilogy of Before Sunrise. The 1st movie was filmed in Vienna, that's why I really want to go there.

Books? I mostly read Paulo Coelho & Mitch Albom. I like books which stories are about a person finding out his/her true essence in life. But I've also read some classics like Jane Austen and Scott Fitzgerald.
