My name's Elvira and I live in Heraklion,Crete in Greece .Crete is an island with breathtaking scenery and many places to discover .We live in a truly blessed land.I am an English teacher and a musician as well .I am a vocalist in a soul ,funk band called The Muffins.My older son is twelve an amazing hip hop dancer and an excellent drummer.My daughter aged nine is a dancer as well .They are both easy going ,warm hearted and very sociable.So in our home we love music and arts!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to host people from all over the world and share special moments with my new friends.I also love travelling and my greatest desire is to travel to as many places as possible and give my children the opportunity to learn how important people and the friendship we share is in our lives but also to discover the world.

As I am a musician I listen to all kinds of music but my favourite is soul ,funk and rock.I also read a lot of books and some of my favourite are Little Prince,Pride and Prejudice,The Tea Rose ,Wuthering Heights,Inferno and more.I love movies and the list is endless like Schindler's list,Rain Man ,Gone with the wind,Moulin Rouge,Forrest Gump,I am Sam,The pianis and more!
