Hi everyone, I'm Elvire, I'm 31 and recently moved back to Bristol after a couple.of years traveling 🙂

I'm a teacher, which means I have my weekends free and school.holidays, but on school days I won't be at home !

I lived in Bristol for almost 10 years so I know the city well and can give you some advice. If I'm at home, I'm happy to show you around.

Definitely up to share drinks / food at home.or at the pub !!!

About me when traveling :
I absolutely love nature, and by that I mean that I will turn into an overly exited 8 years old if you show me a pretty tree, and will gather random leaves and rocks in my backpack for potential 'art projects'. I can't be happier than when I am hiking through forests, or dipping in (secret)waterfalls. Since being in South America, my mind has been blown and my soul moved so many times I can't count. I can't get enough of the nature here and absolutely cannot wait to see more incredible places.

I've been enjoying getting immersed in the culture and spending the majority of my time with locals. When traveling in Brazil, Ive tried to never use English so I could learn portuguese, and succeeded. Meu português não é perfeito mas fonctiona para conversar.

As a traveler :
i've known CS for years, but never used it 😯, I have actually been a lot more active on Workaway, and volonteered in Lisbon, Azores and Brazil.

These experiences with WA have been some of the most interesting and beautiful I've had the chance to live, and I believe than any encounter based on solidarity and humanity are often a recipe for something beautiful. Workaway is fantastic, I do love to give back to my hosts, however it often requires staying a few weeks/months in one place, and I don't always have to time for this, this is why I would like ~ finally ~ give couch surfing a try!

As a host:

After some times using CS as a traveler, I am now happy to be able to offer my service as a Host! Don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like a stay in pretty Bristol 🙂

兴趣

I also love to dance, cook, paint and take pictures (although I only have my phone for it at the moment). I like all music, but deephouse/trance/house and techno are probably favorites, especially when I paint ❤️

Like said above I LOVE nature, so I love to walk in it 😊. I enjoy all types of hikes, I avoid tours because I prefer smaller groups. Im in good physical condition (I practice calisthenics a few times per weeks.), and enjoy a bit of climbing on occasion, although I am a complete beginner! I'm very keen to learn, and try new fun sports.

I'm always happy to meet new people and learn from/about them. I'm also very independent, as a solo traveler, so you won't have to go above and beyond to host me haha, I can look after and entertain myself 😉.

I'd be happy to cook you a nice vegetarian/vegan meal, and of course to give you a hand with maintaining your space tidy.
