ABOUT ME

I'm a full-blooded Latvian (ok, maybe some Lithuanian mixed in) and moved to the United States when I was fairly young. Since then I've spent most of my life in Los Angeles, California. I'm currently living in Washington, DC.

I'm a collector of experiences. I enjoy learning about myself and the world around me. This can come through books, travel, and (perhaps most significantly) meeting people in various settings and situations.

Been on it a while, though I wouldn't call myself too active. The experience I've had it with have been fantastic, though.

Books: 1984, Brave New World, The Fountainhead, Catcher in the Rye

Movies: Citizen Kane, Dr. Zhivago, Clockwork Orange, If..., Pi, The Usual Suspects (and others).

Music: I probably mostly listen to "loungy" electronica and classic rock. However, I'm open to most everything.
