Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything that I enjoy listing to from classical to blues, rock, reggae, folk, pop, etc.

Last book I read: A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hossein

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Driving through wadis in a jeep in Oman.
-Natural fires burning from rocks in Turkey.
-Hari Raya (Ramadan) in Malaysia. I was made to feel so welcome and learnt a lot about Muslim culture.
-Seeing blue whales off the Pacific coast while driving down to Los Angeles from San Fransisco.
-Dancing with 100s of people at a traditional music concert in Lagos, Nigeria. The atmosphere was so fun and lively, I've never experienced anything quite like it!
-Culture shock in Tokyo. Was awestruck by the infrastructure, technological advances and difference in culture.
-Wildlife during safari ride through the savana in Kenya.
