I am a student studying optical engineering in iTMO University. I am currently studying and living in Saint Petersburg -- one of the most fabulous cities in Russia. I enjoy a volounteer activity and scientific research. Moreover, I teach kids in physics and math individually and during the summer camp. I started to travel with my internship in TU Delft, The Netherlands in 2016. I have met a lot of great people during the each trip and learn a lot about myself and the world around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There are two reasons why. I begin to book a place to stay using Airbnb and realize that it is much more comfortable to stay as a guest -- I enjoyed to meet the host who is a local citizen and during the communication I improved my social skills and create friends sometimes, learn more about the place where I was staying and meet with the culture itself. But sometimes for me (as a student), the room price is a big problem to travel. The Couchsurfing eliminate money issues between the host and the guest and, I suppose, create a more intimate meeting between them.
I am living in a university community and cannot host. Anyway sometimes I can meet with you in Saint Petersburg and show the city)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like ambient music as RQTN, British things as Oasis and a lot of another music. I cannot watch horror movies and enjoy something that was created, for example, by Woody Alen and Zvyagintsev. There are a lot of favorite books but I mostly like Russian classicist as Dostoyevsky and Gogol.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more about different cultures and to see myself from another view -- for me, it is the way to improve my social skills and to develop my personality.
