About Me
It's really hard to tell people about one's self, especially when you have seen and tried so little, it's difficult to tell what you do and don't like.
Basically, I'm an ambivert who likes trying new things. To be continued
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First thing first, I'am new here.
I wanted to try solo travelling, but since I am still a baby in this realm, I needed some advice and tips on how to travel alone. The first person that came to mind was my former half human/half gypsy lecturer. So I contacted her and she suggested Couchsurfing, and here I am.
To be honest, I just started filling out my details a few days ago. Haven't really had the chance to get hosted yet but I've sent a couple of requests for my upcoming getaway. * Fingers crossed.
I'm here to learn more about travelling and ultimately to become a better person.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Vocal Ballads, Pop, R&B, Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Indie Folk
Musically, it depends on my mood and where I am. I prefer listening to Indie Folk whenever I am away from home. Records by artists like Bon Iver, James Blake, and Sufjan Stevens give me that surreal feeling when I am travelling, almost like a soundtrack to my journey.
Movies: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Harry Potter Series, Life of Pi, Journey to the West (Original), Avatar, Interstellar, Gravity, The Martian, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc ...
I watch anime too, especially movies by Studio Ghibli (all of them).
Books: I'll come back to this later. ;-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've travelled to the Holyland (Egypt, Israel, Palestine, Jordan) for a pilgrimage; if that counts.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Mostly about biology and conservation. I can teach you Malay too, if you want.
Eventhough I am a Sabah native, I am quite ignorant when it comes to my own culture. So maybe we can learn together?
Learn: History, culture and food!
Share: Pictures maybe? :)
