Hi there!

My name is Elyas, and I live in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. I went to university in London, Ontario. Though I was born in Afghanistan, Toronto feels like a home away from home. Oftentimes, when I say that I am "homesick," I don't know where home is because I have the experience of living on my own from a young age and in different cities. When I say homesick, I might be referring to the memories I have built in Afghanistan.

My adventure with Couchsurfing began at 17 during my first trip to India. This experience opened my world to amazing friendships, fascinating places, and incredible stories. I'm passionate about continuing this journey, discovering new cultures, and exploring new corners of the world.

I'm excited to meet new people, share experiences, and learn from each other's backgrounds. Looking forward to connecting with fellow travellers and hosts along the way!
