Overview
About Me
I am in my third year of studies at my University in the United States and was given the incredible opportunity to come to England for a semester abroad. Before, I had never left the United States so this is my first experience traveling abroad! I am happy, outgoing, a huge food-lover, with a love for being surrounded by people.
"If you don't build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a desire to see the world and experience it. It devastates me that there is so much I will never get to see; but worse, that there is so much more to the culture of a place than just visiting the "must-see" attractions that it has to offer. Hostels are great for meeting travelers but they can't tell you the secrets of the city that a local can!
Interests
Home for me is nestled into the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming so I love to spend time in the summers hiking and exploring all that they have to offer. I love food and have recently found a love for cooking, anything sweet is far too tempting for me to turn down, and architectural history is my weakness. I love sporting events, hitting the gym, and getting active. Surrounding myself with people and laughing until my stomach hurts!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love music that will get me moving or anything I can sing along to! Pop and country have to be particular favorites. (In the land of country music festivals and swing dancing you kind of have to like it!)
Movies: Thrillers, Action, and Comedies are typically the go-to. Give me snacks chocolate though and I'll sit through near anything!
Books: the one thing that I always tell myself I'm going to do more of. Outside of the textbooks I am always stuck reading, I do love The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis and The Giver by Lois Lowry
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I packed up my life for six months to move to the UK having never left the United States before!! For someone raised in small-town-America this is proving to be an amazing adventure.
