About Me
******NOT IN MUNICH RIGHT NOW. RETURN LATE SEPTEMBER*******
Hello! Here’s my bio in the shortest, most simplified manner possible...
I grew up in Miami, USA and graduated from the University of Florida with both a business and German degree. During my junior summer, I studied abroad in Germany. There, I met my current boyfriend Lukas. After a year of maintaining a long distance relationship, complete with multiple flights back and forth from Germany to America, I decided to move to Munich after graduation.
I’ve been living in Munich for the past year and even got a big-girl business job at a tech startup! That is, of course, until I quit and decided to travel...
I’m an avid animal advocate and am obsessed with my smiling mutt, Wiggles. I’ve also been vegan for over a year. I’m extremely interested in learning about wellness, fitness, and maintaining a healthy life. I’m always up for a friendly debate or controversial conversation. If you have different views, or would like to discuss what we share in common- I’m your girl!
Two years ago, I lived in Vietnam for 2 months and traveled most of Vietnam and Thailand. Now, I’m making my way through Indonesia, Cambodia, Japan and Sri Lanka!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Remember that boyfriend I mentioned? Well he just finished his Masters and we decided to travel together for a few months.
We’ve already spent a month in the world’s largest archipelago and are now moving on towards Japan.
I recently quit my tech startup job to take a breather and sort of my life.
What is my true passion? What do I actually appreciate about life? What do I want to spend my time doing?
Maybe I’ll figure it out. Maybe I won’t. Either way, I’m excited to continue this journey and meet amazing people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading Human Acts by Han Kang.
Upon my arrival to Cambodia, I watched First They Killed My Father. Now this is one of my favorite movies.
I spent my teen years at EDM and pop rock festivals. I grew up on 90’s rap and hip hop. I now enjoy the underground Berlin music scene... but secretly sing along to top 100 radio hits.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Left my comfort zone to build a life with my boyfriend in Germany.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’ve taught English to Vietnamese school children and in orphanages for multiple months.
I spent my college years volunteering with and teaching workout classes to people who have physical and mental disabilities.
I believe anyone can learn anything thanks to the internet. I taught myself digital marketing, B2B marketing and the SaaS industry for my recent job at a tech start up.
I’ve dabbled in code. I’m perfecting my German. I’m looking to discover my next passion and pour myself into learning something new.
Like football freestyle? Lukas is a professional and can teach you a move or two!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m traveling with my boyfriend, so expect double! We’re both super friendly, outgoing and normal. I promise we’re normal... normal enough. We aren’t loud or crazy party people. We enjoy learning about culture and the people of the lands we visit.
We’re looking to fulfill the most authentic journey possible and find friendly people to exchange life experiences with.
