i opted against listing EVERY destination under "places i want to go" because there is no location i do not want to go to. i can learn from any adventure and it's either a good time or a good story. so hopefully my contribution can be to make some global connections and understandings while putting a few smiles on faces :)

Interessen

being outside, shiny distractions, living things, games of all shapes, sizes and boards, baseball, words (english, spanish and otherwise), music (especialmente en vivo), ingesting all sorts of fruits from the earth, respecting mother nature, creating things with my hands, moving my body in any way that feels good, exploring, living and loving life and definitely LAUGHING. i'm up for anything and down for whatever. i have no destination, just enjoying the ride.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

reggae music gets me hot around the collar, but hip-hop is my heart and soul on the real yo. but there is really something special about a guitar that makes me rock and roll, especially what is considered classic today. seriously though, EVERYTHING... ambient, indie rock, jazz, blues, classical, reggaeton, merengue, cumbia, marimba, salsa (a mi me encantan los ritmos latinos!), gangsta rap, monster ballads, folk music. music is truly therapeutic.
i really, really, REALLY like to read any sort of literature-- books, short stories, poetry, narratives, plays, and on and on. i love getting lost in the minds of intelligent and interesting people. las palabras me vuelven loca! pero en a good way.
i recently subscribed to netflix so i watch many films. my favorites include anything relatively entertaining from all genres: paris is burning, my own private idaho, pan's labyrinth, american psycho, reservoir dogs, hot shots, 28 days later, march of the penguins, apocalypse now, spun, requiem for a dream, field of dreams.
