ABOUT ME

Hmm, its more than high time that I filled out my profile.

What about me? Well for basics; Im a Canadain girl in London working at a hotel in the posh Mayfair area. My job is hella interesting and is giving me lots of experience that will give me a great advantage when I move back home.

I have turned into a local and need to revert now and jump on a sight seeing bus and scope out all the tourist attractions I've missed so far.

I love going out and seeing new things. I dont have any problems with travelling alone but would very much like the experience of meeting people who know about the places I'm visiting. And to meet some new friends! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a novice in this department. I am in the process of getting verified-postcard in the mail. Whoo-hoo.

And once I move back home and have a couch to ny name will glady host people on it. I've always had the travel bug and will glady explore vicariously through the stories these new travelers bring haha ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Beginner!! I know people who have travelled by hopping couches and it came highly recommended. While never having couch surfed myself I have met some people through those who have and though everyone was fantastic.

Interests

So many...
I like music- inie, althernative, and rock- also Top 40 and anything with a beat that makes you want to dance. And I love acoustic tracks where you can hear the artists unique and sometimes imperfect voice. Even better than the studio versions <3

Love books as well- try to read a bit of everything although I dont do scary. Movies or books lol.

I want to travel as much as possible, and experience as much as I can before heading home in about 8 months.

I've started a London Bucket List and it is LONG! lol

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is probably Garden State, not exactly sure why- but always enjoyable.

Well before my ipod was sadly stolen from me I was rocking out to, or alternatively chilling to things like: Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie, Madonna, City & Colour, Tiesto, Dragonette, Kesha, Snow Patrol, Stars and Shakira and Tom Petty.
Just to give you and idea of how all over the map I am when it comes to tunes...

Its pretty much the same thing with books so I won't get into it. lol.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have held the world's smallest monkeys in the Phillipnes. But I think this may have been a con since they didnt look like any monkey I have seen before! :-o
Either way it was cool.
