* Used to be a shy introvert, but now I'm an outgoing extrovert.

* I can (and enjoy) adapting to a variety of new situations, whether it's socially, environmentally, or career-wise.

* Love entrepreneurship and startups, especially around tech, with social or environmental/sustainability angles.

* I have a variety of interests but currently enjoy creating business plans, designing websites, rock climbing/bouldering, archery, hiking, horseback riding, running Spartan (and/or other obstacle-intense) races, piano, ATVing, skydiving, jet skiing, white water rafting, or binge watching YouTube or Netflix while multitasking.

* I'd like to learn/improve on a bunch of things but at the top of my list is photography, improv, public speaking, and videography, and yoga.

* I can't wait to try scuba diving, krav maga, dance, parkour, surfing, skiing and snowboarding!

* I direct the Kansas division of CARE, an international nonprofit that does a lot of advocacy work around human rights, something I'm passionate about.

* Finally got a boating license, about to get a motorcycle license and scuba certified... after that, maybe learn to fly.

* Aiming to visit all 50 states and US National Parks by end the of 2020! Then hopefully every country and continent in the world :) I plan to make traveling my lifestyle. I usually make friends pretty quickly everywhere I go but I'm also always on the lookout for travel buddies!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to stay with locals get recommendations on their favorite places to eat and things to do, beyond the touristy ones. I love hearing about people's purpose, things that have shaped them, their life stories, and their travels as well.

I have a ton of interests, and usually have one or two projects I'm working on at a time too, because I always like the feeling of learning and growing. In general though, they often revolved around entrepreneurship and marketing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of music except for heavy metal.

Movies are varied, but I especially like action, comedy, and horror/thrillers.

Shows I've binged include The Office, Parks and Rec, Hilda, Stranger Things, Hill House, Bare Bears, Dragon Prince, Hunter x Hunter, Psych, Crimminal Minds, Leverage, and Rick and Morty.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've started to chase eclipses! I drove out to the Grand Tetons to see the one that went across the US in 2017. Then went to Argentina earlier this year to see my 2nd solar eclipse. I'm planning on going to Patagonia next year to see my 3rd!
