About Me
As a couchsurfer, I just want to be a big sponge! Learning about your city and your life and your interests - is much more exciting to me than tourist destinations. Always open to new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always lived in communal environments and have learned that, with the right courtesy, living intimately is much more fulfilling than living privately. I have hosted and travelled a lot with the generosity of others, before I discovered this awesome website. Looking forward to getting more involved in the CouchSurfing community!
Interests
DANCING! Singing into the twilight, hunting and gathering, adventures, talking for hours... building, brainstorming, watching things grow. DIY and community, gardens, art, education, people with fire in their eyes...

Music, Movies, and Books
Food: I love eating, cooking, baking. I have some vegan/gluten-free skills. I like things spicy.
Music: A necessity. I'll enjoy anything that makes me cry, dance, or want to riot. I have spent a lot of time at punk shows. I love acoustic sing-alongs but have a lot to learn about instruments.
Film: I think characters and moods are more important than plot. I tend to choose films based on their directors or writers...
Books: Hard to choose favourites. Stargirl was important to me as a kid; Crimethinc. was important to me as a teen. Palestine was the first graphic novel I ever read; Laugh of the Medusa was my intro to feminism; Ursula LeGuin was my first sci-fi.
Recently, I became aware of my own mortality when I realized: you will not have time to read every book..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled with a carnival and petting zoo for a summer. Making candy apples and watching chickens hatch and enjoying all the rides for free! Life is but a dream!
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's share languages and music!
I have some skills as a gardener, cook/baker, art stuff, stick and poke tattoos, dumpstering, fixing things, talking about feelings etc. I'm very tidy and courteous, and would love to help with home and/or community projects.
