Well, I'm a very curious person who enjoy learning about..almost everything: history, science, philosophy, economics, politics, etc. For that reason, I like always to meet persons with a different culture, experience or profession to mine.
I think, life is too short and the world is so vast, to live just in one place or being closed to only one culture or point of view.
