Born in 1977 and raised in Asyout, upper Egypt, Abo Grain currently lives and works in Cairo , His city Asyout cultivated his interest in the arts at an early age. After receiving BA in Arts from Asyout University, Abo Grain decided to resign from his work as a professor and to dedicate all his time for Art.
He moved to Cairo where he participated in many Group and solo exhibitions and art movements.
The work he produces both symbolizes and creates optimism for life in our society. He put forth a passionate effort to produce art that has a spiritual, and urban aesthetic. His artwork has been executed and constructed with various art mediums, such various objects, oil paint, and acrylic. His goal is to break the preconceived idea of what many people may think of using the collage or the mixed media in the artworks which had become the main focus in his work.

Works as a Visual, Conceptual Artist based in Cairo, Egypt.
Abo Grain participated in many solo and group Exhibitions in collaboration with private galleries as well as governmental institutions.
In 2012, He established "Million Artists" creativity center.
