Hi there, I'm Em. I might look weird, but I promise I'm really lovely!

I'm 29, I live in London, and I try and travel and experience as much as much as possible.

I am involved with the UK Burning Man community and have been helping to run the annual festival for the last five years. We have a great social scene here, and it's a good place to start if you're new to London. There's a pub meet on the third Thursday of every month at The Miller in London Bridge - come along!

Art is a huge passion - I create, draw, make things, and take photographs. I'm pretty nifty with a glue gun or a sewing machine, and always buy second-hand clothes to modify and change. Food wise I'm currently vegan and jump at any chance to explore new veggie restaurants or recipes. I always have a few different books on the go (sci-fi is my favourite), although I still don't own an e-reader so mostly just swap books with other people when I travel.

I'm equally as happy with a duvet and a cup of tea as I am with going out dancing at a club night. I spend a lot of time at home with my cats when I'm in London, and I love all animals (except maybe wasps).

I don't smoke anymore, but I don't mind other people smoking around me.

I'm non-religious, liberal and open-minded, LGBTQ+ friendly, and sex-positive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel frequently and love meeting new people.

Sadly I can't currently host as I'm living in a friend's house, but I've hosted people from abroad before and I'd love to do it again in the future when I have my own space.
