Hello, my name is Emanuel, I'm a student and a french tutor and I live in Lisbon.
To put it briefly, for me one things that I enjoy the most is having the opportunity to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrouds, especially when I get the chance to do it outside my own country.

Despite the fact that I'm not the most adventurous guy, I have the desire to travel the world, get inspired by the positive things that every place has to give and consequently grow as a human being. I'm the kind of person that is humble and that gives back as much as possible when people are helpful and respectful. I'm also a sporty person and a nature lover :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to keep experiencing different things, travel around the world, meet a lot of people and also, since l'm a food lover, try some traditional dishes from the places I'm visiting (especially sweets, I love sweets!).

I'm not a fan of that kind of trip in which people pay for a plane ticket and then book a hotel room to visit other countries. By doing so, i believe that you only get to see the same spots and monuments that everybody knows. I think it's important to go a little further in terms of getting to know the locals and some secret and surprising places. Couchsurfing is definitely a good way to do that.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I hitchhiked with a friend from Lisbon to Paris. On the trip we passed through Spain, Switzerland and France and experienced couchsurfing. It was my first time doing this kind of trip and I felt overly happy for overcoming some of my fears and having the chance to see a little part of the world from a totally different perspective.
Now i have the desire to do it again in the future! :D
