About Me

Hi everyone!
My name is Emanuel and my family and friends call me Manu.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, I'm a digital marketer passionate about marketing, business, and entrepreneurship as well as politics, social movements, and historical places since I have a degree in International Affairs.

I'm a digital nomad entrepreneur. I founded my own digital marketing agency about four years ago and I offer advertising services to companies and organizations around the world. I'm used to traveling and working at the same time so it's not a problem for me. I just need my laptop, WI-FI and I'm ready to go!

I'm a quiet and friendly person who enjoys meeting new people around, having little talks about any topic, going for walks, practicing some water sports or just making any other plan that sounds good to me.

So far my favorite city in the world is Rome. Rome is a big open air museum and I could spend all the day just walking around, between Ancient Rome ruines and Renaissance art.

Currently, I'm spending some time in Cyprus, looking for local experiences and nice chats.

You can also contact me via Instagram on @manu.montez

Cheers,
Manu. ✨

Music, Movies, and Books

🎵 Music: Lana del Rey. I saw her performing live three times and my fav album is the underrated 'Ultraviolence'. Also, The Cranberries, Radiohead.

🍿Movies: fav movie when I was a kid was 'The Sound of Music' with the great Julie Andrews. I enjoy watching comedy series like The Nanny and The Office (US version). I'm a huge fan of documental series on National Geographic, Deutsche Welle (it's a German TV Channel) or so.

📒Books: 'Del Amor y otros Demonios' by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and 'The Lord of the Rings' by J.R.R. Tolkien are my favs. I like books about business, biographies, and entrepreneurship. Any book about history is fine for me too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

. Swim with sea turtles in Akumal, Mexico.
. I drove a scooter for the first time in Rome and even encouraged me to take the highway. Now I'm learning about motorcycles since someone special has introduced me to that world.
. I attended to the Monaco Grand Prix - Formula One Motor Racing- in Monte Carlo.
. I spent 3 days at Chiesa del Gesú helping immigrants in Rome.
. I arrived in Rome at 5 AM in the morning and went direct to Fontana Di Trevi. I found one of the most visited places in the world completely empty and available to me.
. I like attending religious services in different languages. I have already participated in services offered in French, English, Italian, and Dutch.
. I practiced scuba diving for the first time in Tossa del Mar, Spain.
. I visited most of the towns in Costa Brava doing hitchhiking. My favorite spot is Palafrugell.
. I understood why many architects love Barcelona or 'La Ciudad Condal'. Just take a look to a map of Barcelona and you will see!
. Flew 35 hours and 34k kilometers between Buenos Aires-Rome-Buenos Aires-Rome-Abu Dhabi in less than 6 days.

Teach, Learn, Share

Buenos Aires is a great city, tango is in the air.
I love living here and it has a vibe not easy to find in other places. So I can give you a mini guide tour around and check some good spots. Also, I think I'm good at telling stories about this city.

I can teach you some Spanish as well and you can help me to improve my English and French.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to keep my space tidy and organized so I can help with small daily tasks.

I'm knowledgeable about Buenos Aires and Argentina. I could help you to organize your trip, and give you some recommendations and tips. If you want to know about social, political, or economic scenarios, I can tell you about those topics as well.
