My name is Emanuela, but non-italian speakers usually call me Manny.
I'm from a small sicilian town, and after spending a year travelling around Europe and living in hostels, I re-located in my native island! Now I live in Palermo, where I study.

I'm kinda of easy-going, I like staying with people who keep the vibes good and enjoy sarcasm.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the concept of a platform that helps you get in touch with people from all over the world, it's a little bit like the feeling I had when I lived in a hostel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to whatever makes me want to listen to it again, and writing a list would be only a waste of time. Anyway, if there's a party, I'm down for it no matter what the music is.

Also, I'm really into reading because for me is basically travelling with my mind, so I'll always enjoy a good chat about books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

•I drank orange juice after brushing my teeth. Twice.
•I almost managed to hold my tears while watching the last 15 minutes of Toy Story 3.
•I saved a girl's life in a club's bathroom because she forgot her lipstick at home and when it started to disappear from her lips she was kinda desperate, but I had a lipstick which matched the same colour and even if I didn't understand her language I figured out what she was looking for and handed it to her.
•When I moved to Palermo I prepared a delicious chocolate and coconut cake for the neighbours and they gave me their wifi password to thank me (which is why I don't spend money on WiFi).
