About Me

Hello there! 😜 It’s my first time with Couchsurfing and I’m exited to start this journey.

MY SELF IN FEW WORDS

I’m Italian. I come from Gubbio, a small town 2 hours from Rome and Florence (in the middle of Italy - Umbria).

I’m graduated in Turism Economics, I had a Japanese restaurant - we were doing a great Sushi. I was proud of it, unfortunately me and my ex business partner had different ideas for the future - so we decided to separate.

I worked in the 5* Stars Hotels (Venice, Florence and Sydney) where I met some celebrities or strange people with funny stories.

Now I need some peace of mind and i do gardening jobs.

WHAT I LIKE TO DO

I used to travel by staying in hotels or asking for support from friends. I traveled a lot around the Europe doing small trip in big cities like Munich, London, Paris, Barcelona, Valencia, Milan, Rome or a few week stay in Warsaw.

I also did the Erasmus in Bilbao (amazing experience!). There I found a tons of friends having fun in the beach parties and there is where I learnt about Couchsurfing taking with a couple that were travelling doing it!

This is my first time outside Europe so I decided to go the far away possible on the other side of the globe… Australia.

After a first good experience in Spain with Couchsurfing, I decided to travel with that as I want to meet good souls and gift them with some good food - I’m indeed a good home chef… easy way is always the best way.

WHAT CAN I GIVE

I love cooking - I’m Italian and my grandmother taught me how to master some recipes and I love to cook carbonara or pasta in general (I’m great at the stoves!) - That’s why I prefer a lunch at home instead of at the restaurant. Bread, pizza or meat are classic, but if you what something good I will cook pasta 100%. You will not be disappointed.

During my free time I read a lot or I use to play chess and also I love to hanging out with friends talking about stories of the past or project for the future.

In general I am a great listener with people and of course music (I love house but I hate hard rock), I play guitar or ukulele.

MY VALUES

I’m religiously nonbeliever but I was raised by a catholic mother who is still practising. I have a deep connection with my family especially with my little sister - she is my love!

The most valuable think in the world is TIME - that’s why I always try to spend time with my family (If needed I also do things I don’t like to do to spend time with them - but of course I love to enjoy it too)

With my father I usually watch ACMilan football matches, with my mother I talk about life (she is a psychologist) and with my sister I do everything - form hiking to go to the cinema.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to do know people in a different level as I’m basically introvert and this feel the best way to find amazing people to exchange experiences.
