I am passionate about traveling, I was always fascinated by different cultures... But for some strange reason, I didn't travel a lot in my life.
Maybe I was "distracted" by work, by family (I have three marvelous children, Sofia, Anna and Federico), by other interests (I am a volunteer in a local sport association where we try to give a different way to grow end enjoy together to children, boys and girls... And this is very time consuming, but also very amusing).
But now that my children grew up and are going to build their life by their own, I feel that passion again, that desire to discover, to know, to be surprised, to feel enriched by the meeting with other person's and other cultures.

I am basically an introspective person, but I like to interact with everyone who wants to share anything, thoughts, opinions, experiences.

In my sport association we hosted some Ukrainian children and their family who escaped to Italy from war... And they raised my interest in Ukraine a their culture and the desire to learn Ukrainian language.
So I joined language learning groups, and I met new Ukrainian people... And now by biggest interest is to visit Ukraine and to learn Ukrainian language. I am non involved in politics, only in people and their own cultures.

My main mood is trained by curiosity and I think that Ніщо не відбувається випадково (nothing happens randomly).
That is: each meeting and event in your life happens to create a link from your life to another and you may choose to follow that link or not.
In the first part of my life I often decided not to follow.
Now I am often choosing to follow...

And... finally I did it! Not so simple, but I improved a bit my Ukrainian and I leaved my town to go and visit Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk, in the Western region of Ukraine... a first time... a second one... a third one...
First time wasn't so easy, because I didn't know what to expect visiting a Country with limited access because of a war (you cannot fly to Ukraine, but to a nearby Country and then enter Ukraine by car).
But my couchsurfers host Andry and Taras where very nice and guided me in the Ukrainian places and culture.
And, moreover, there I met Mariia!! :))
Well... I met her for the second time, 'cause I met her first time in Italy in 2022. We kept in touch for about one year, till I decided to visit Ukraine in August 2023.
And... now she definitely came back to Italy, with me :)
We have such different skills, cause I am an IT technician and she is a teacher in Ukrainian and International Literature, but we both share the same mood and believe that... Ніщо не відбувається випадково (nothing happens randomly), even our first meeting.
Surely we will want to plan our future together, but for now we are planning to visit new cities and Countries together.
First target: Paris!

Movies. There isn't a favorite movie category, but these are some movies i liked and some I loved:

I entered a luxury car dealer and asked to try a car
I gifted 1€ people at the supermarket entrance only to see their reactions (sometime surprising :))
I took a flight only to knew a person that I never met in my life because I trusted that was a very interesting person to know
