My name is Anya, I live 50% in Moscow and 50% in Paris. I travel a lot, and when I do, it's with my husband, who is French and/or with my BFF's from Russia and Austria!

Interests

Classic rock is what's made me who I am. I love music but have never learnt to play an instrument properly. I have plenty of musician friends around the world!! Love travelling with hubby and friends, adore dogs and especially my American bulldog Grisha. I am very keen on African culture, languages and nature. Basically, everything about Africa fascinates me. I know a few phrases in Swahili and would like to learn it one day. We've been to Tanzania for our honeymoon, seen all kinds of wild animals and Boy do I want to go back asap!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very fond of classic rock music, such as Deep Purple, Rainbow, DIO, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, Mr.Big, Slash. I've traveled many places to see my favourite bands. First time abroad was to see Deep Purple, second time - Whitesnake.

My favourite writers are Ray Bradbury (Dandelion Wine! <3) and Frances H. Burnett (The Secret Garden!).

I like strange movies with a twisted plot that make you think and analyze, just like some books do. I also like dramas and an occasional romantic comedy. My movie crush is Hugh Grant.

My favourite films include Mulholland Drive, The Shining, Predestination, Shawshank Redemption, The Help, Whiplash, The Elephant Man, Stand By Me, 6th Sense, Where Dreams May Come...
