I laugh till I fall from the bench. I take pictures till people can't stand my camera anymore. I read till I finish the book. Je parle franglais quite bien. I travel when I can. I drink tea till it becomes cold...

I am in a search for extraordinary in ordinary. I like to see beauty in the most simple of moments.
Having camera around my neck helps me not to forget to look for it.

I have hosted a few people at my place in Vilnius. Now, it's time to surf! I am setting out on a long journey through Europe and would love to get to know the cultures better through couchsurfing. Would you like to meet?

Writers - Remarque, Camus, Frankl (when I am in that serious mood), Mercier (my night train is waiting), J.K.Rowling (when I am feeling sentimental), Nicholls (for some romance and unexpected endings), Grisham (for some mystery solving)...
Movies - The Shawshank Redemption (it will be classic one day), Genius Of Photography (good documentaries), La Grande Bellezza, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (another sentimental one), If Only, 50 First Dates (yes, why not romance?), Thank You For Smoking (I love this one!)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Right now one thing comes to mind.
When I was in Chile, Torres del Paine, I went horseback riding in the mountains. Just imagine it... It is afternoon, the sunset is near, you have just ridden up the mountain on your wild horse (he dropped me once violantly :)), the sight of mountains and lakes is beneath your feet... It feels real and surreal at the same time. Clearity and peace and beauty. It was an experience of an unparalleled harmony.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new things. Anything, actually. Fishing, painting, making cappucino - you name it, I am up for it.
I can teach about photography anyone who wants to listen. Techniques, history, developing films, using PS.
