En route to a couple of artist residencies and then roadtripping around the east coast for a while before heading back to Texas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I enjoyed spending time with two documentary filmmakers that were on tour with Bill Callahan. They accidentally left some of their equipment at my place, so I drove from Santa Barbara, CA to Big Sur and delivered it to them. Watched Bill Callahan perform outside amongst huge redwood trees and felt happy.

Sunshining, picnicing, fermenting, drinking tasty beers, walking around, watching plants grow, WWOOFing, and occasionally (occupationally) makin' art

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunset in the Jiri moutains after a loooooooong day of hard work on a farm. Made all of the work worth it just to be present for that moment.

And one time I kissed a sting ray on its nose for good luck.
