I am an information architect and UX designer hoping to travel the world and see amazing things.

I am dedicated to the act of creation. I dabble in silversmithing, wood working, plastic fabrication, 3D printing, laser cutting, industrial sewing, and basic robotics. My soul-based studies have brought me to learn how to work with permaculture design principals, wildcrafting methods, natural building techniques, and mycology (mushrooms are rad.) I am a bodyworker- I do reiki and Thai massage, as well as a yoga teacher (I teach an AMAZING yin practice but can also do more intensive classes.)

The outdoors make me feel alive! I love hiking, scuba diving, mountain climbing, volcano treks, snorkeling, surfing, and running as fast as I can through the forest. I love music. I play mandolin but am trying to get better at it. My favourite thing is to jam with people!

When I'm grounded in the same place for a while, I live vicariously through travellers passing through and sharing stories. It helps connect me with the outside world I love to explore.

When I'm travelling, I seek to break the typicality of tourism and really see the soul of a place through those who love where they live. I boycott Airbnb and prefer to see where I'm travelling through the hearts and homes of the locals.

Intereses

I love martial arts, programming languages, skateboarding, woodworking, metal working, yoga, acrobatics, folk music, insects, and circus arts (aerial silks are my fave.) I love music and am constantly trying to learn new instruments and techniques. I am travelling with a mandolin and am hoping to get better at it! My favourite music is folk, electronic, and dream pop.
