CURRENT MISSION
Find a job
ABOUT ME
I'm currently working in a neurodegenerative research lab at The University of Toronto and tutoring math and science up to Gr. 12. I'm trying to find a job teaching or in a teaching-related field but no luck thus far. Any help/tips would be great!
In my spare time I usually go to the gym, rock climb, belly dance, play video games (I'm a Nintendo fan), go to a yoga class, go to Irish Sessions, or go out with some friends.
I'm not a big party/club person and prefer hanging out with a few friends at a pub, for dinner or going to a movie.
PHILOSOPHY
1) There's always room for improvement and anyone can improve/change, they just have to find a method that works for them.
2) It's better to regret having done something than to regret not having even tried. But this is within reason and you'll have to logically evaluate each situation or else this can come back and kick you.
3) Sometimes it's silly waiting for someone else to make a move. Take the initiative and do it yourself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: In general I prefer to watch comedies because I like laughing. I can't watch horror/gore movies because I get too scared. Some of my favourite movies include Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, The Incredibles, Monthy Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, Office Space, The Princess Bride, The Legend of the Druken Master, The Muppet Christmas Carol, Singin' in the Rain.
Music: Classical, jazz, musicals, movie soundtracks, Irish/Celtic, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, The Killers, random pop/rock that I find catchy.
Books: My favourite books are the Harry Potter Series (my favourite being the 3rd one), The Long Halloween and Ender's Game. I've read all of the Ender series, parallel series and most of Orson Scott Card's works. I tend to read sci-fi/fantasy but have recently started reading classics and literature due to the influence of a few friends. I occasionally read self-help/self improvement books. I also read comics, mainly DC.
