COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been an unofficial member of "the couchsurfing experience" for years, having hosted many folk on my couches around the world. People keep telling me that I should be on the site "officially" so that I can gain reviews. OK, whatever, here we go.

Music, Movies, and Books

An overly serious Tolkien fan who is very meh about the Peter Jackson movies. Meh. I like Peter Greenaway movies and sci-fi TV shows from the 1970s: The Prisoner, old Dr. Who, old Twilight Zone.

Sympathy as opposed to empathy: it's condescending to think that you know how it feels to walk in someone else's shoes, but it's our mission to support each other, even when we don't understand each other, even when we don't understand ourselves.
